Guitar player dysmorphia?

Is this there such a thing? How do you feel about your guitar playing? Do you think you’re bad, at a decent level, or do you even know that you’re really good?

Personally, I’ve been playing guitar for thirty years. I started when I was ten. My dad was a blues guy and showed me some chords and later A minor scale. Today, I’d say I’m at a decent level, maybe some people would even say I’m pretty good. But compared to other players I know, I’d say I’m bad.

There are days when I think, Wow, you’re fuckin good, and then two days later, I can’t stand hearing myself play because I feel like I’m always playing the same thing. I focus a lot on soloing, of course, and I also play in a blues rock band but I don't like my playing specially at live gigs.

What about you? Is this a common issue for a lot of players? (Pic for attention)
