Selling Guitar - Remove Strings or Not?

So I just sold a guitar of mine through Reverb for about $1.2k. I haven't used it in a while and it is long due a setup and string change. I explicitly stated this in my listing, but was wondering if I should remove the strings or just leave the old ones on when I ship. It has a tremolo system and I don't want to mess too much with the floating bridge. I also don't know if it's just a bad look to leave rusty strings on. Should I ask the buyer what he prefers? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
