Purchasing Advice

Hi all,

Finally looking to pull the trigger on a watch I’ve had my eye on for the better part of 2 years - the SBGA413/443. I have a smaller wrist and was on the fence until I tried one on in person last spring. Since then, I’ve eyed it as my next watch purchase.

My dilemma is coming in the form of how to go about purchasing it. It’s really hard to justify paying $2K more to buy directly from a boutique/AD when I’m seeing Chrono24 prices from domestic Japan dealers ($4800-$5000). I’d love to return to the boutique in DC (where I first tried on the watch) this Spring (during the cherry blossom fest 🌸🌸) but $2K is $2K.

Are there any other reputable dealers (chrono24 aside) that this GS community would recommend? FWIW I don’t doubt that the JDM dealers showing on Chrono24 aren’t reliable.

I’m also hoping to find a 2024 model year in particular to tie in with the birth of my first child so perhaps going directly through a dealer to source/request might be a little easier than through Chrono24.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
