Camper suggestions needed

The mrs and I are looking at getting some sort of RV. After a recent tent camping trip she admitted that she has no desire to sleep in a tent again.

We are looking for something for 2, maybe 3 people max. I'd like AC, relative ease of setup, a decent bed. I don't need a shower but a cassette loo would be OK. Def a stove and small sink. I'd tow with either an '10 Outback 2.5 (a bit underpowered) or a '12 4Runner. We live in the mountains in NC, most of where we'd go are areas outside of the mountains but we'd still have to drive up 40 from Old Fort into Asheville or up the Saluda grade from SC.

So far I'm looking at Scamps, Aline Rangers (staying in one soon), or a Rockwood A214. I'd park it at home, the only issue is that I'd be parking it next to my driveway and would have to secure it. I have 3/4 acre lot but very little of it is level. No garage.

Thoughts? We are going to be purchasing in the spring.
