Is there any in-game explanation for why some dolls did NOT change their names away from their weapon names?

I found the Ullrid event's story pretty touching, with its explanation of dolls choosing their own names rather than referring to themselves as their frame or weapon name.

Colphene's journal also reveals that her former leader gave her the name rather than referring to her by her serial number.

With the dolls from the first game now all free to do as they wish, why have some of them stuck with the names of their weapons? Groza, Nagant, Mosin, Suomi, Springfield and Papasha seem to be the only ones who stuck to their old names, while everyone else has flashy new names.

Is this discussed anywhere in game? I can speculate that its just a personal decision and maybe they like their names, but It seems odd to me not to have all of them have new names, or at least explanations why individuals did or did not.
