Where did people smoke when you were a kid?

I remember smoking in the shopping mall but not on airplanes or in doctor offices. I remember McDonald's ashtrays. My kids don't believe it. I am like, "oh yeah, my childhood was gross" I am 45, born on the cusp of Gen X/Millennial
