GBBR + Winter - how to enjoy the sport?

So... in 2020 I wanted to get into airsoft and got myself WE 416 relatively cheap (like around 200 EUR with extra mags and sight - cool deal). Invested into some upgrades like steel trigger box (stock one broke from shooting boxes inside my apartment). But then COVID happened, we all know the history...
Finally, by 2024 I got to get outside to some CQB arena and I must say I enjoy the sport a lot.

Time passed by, temperature got lower. So problems appeared.

First choice was to get red gas. It helped, but not for long. Also tried black gas (nimrod), but this is quite expensive where I live.
Second choice - winter springs (buffer, hammer and 150% nozzle return). Again, was more-less OK (with red gas) around 6°C.
Latest game was around 2°C outside. On red gas I managed to get through 15 minute round, but then I could see BBs drop on the ground after travelling 2-3 meters. Not sure what was the reason.
My next thought is to try Poseidon nozzle, but this is 70 EUR upgrade, which is on more expensive side.

After spending hours reading on reddit/discord and looking what else to change (yes, I think I saw pretty much ALL videos on YT regarding how to make GBBR more winter-friendly) I started to ask myself: maybe WE 416 just a bad gun for winter.

I'd love to have one GBBR to rule them all. Something I can play with in (almost) any weather, that will work and will be fun to play. I really doubt I'm going to play with anything lower than -10°C outside. Maybe that's unrealistic, but I see some ppl saying "MWS can run -17°C on black gas".

Any ideas? Right now saving up and buying VFC V3 or TM MWS seem to be a better choice for next autumn/winter season.
