How good is the French translation of A Song of Ice and Fire?

So I looked on Amazon France for the French edition of A Song of Ice and Fire, and I stumbled upon the review section. A pretty fair amount of the reviews said that the translation was "a shame" and "lamentable" for not being faithful to the books and then saw that the majority of reviews rated the books as 4 stars or above. Naturally, this confused me. What is your take on the French translation of A Song of Ice and Fire? Is it bad, or good like the other reviews said? If it's bad, could you tell me which things in particular irked you?
