Ideas for Fort Collins community involvement with Planned Parenthood benefit event
Hey all! My friends and I are organizing a benefit show at the Aggie Theatre to support Planned Parenthood. In light of recent years and the challenges faced by marginalized communities, we want this event to be more than just a concert—we’re aiming to create a space that celebrates inclusivity and brings people together.
We’re reaching out to see how we can involve local organizations that focus on supporting LGBTQ+ folks, grassroots initiatives, and other groups doing great work in our community. What are some organizations or resources in Fort Collins that you think would be a good fit? Are there any ways you think we can make this event truly impactful for our community?
The show itself will be an all-ages event with local bands, and 100% of the proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood. While the music is a big part of it, the larger goal is to foster a sense of solidarity and hope.
