Thoughts on Una Pizza Napoletana?
I'm a big fan of pizza, and have been lucky enough to spend time in NYC, Rome and even Naples. I'm lucky enough to have enjoyed some great pizza over the years.
So I definitely want to try Una Pizza Napoletana at some point, since it has topped the charts several years running as THE best pizza on the planet. Which is an epic statement.
I've been to Sorbillo's, 50 Kaló and other famous spots in Italy and had my socks knocked clean off by how heavenly their pies were. But I've also been to some solid or even quite good places here in NYC (examples: Song'E Napule, Sotto Le Stelle, Paulie G's, and even Artichoke's), so I know NYC can bring the quality if you know where to look.
Has anyone here been to Una Pizza? Is it worth the 2-week-wait and mad dash for a reservation on Resy? Or waiting in line at the door for an extra spot, presumably?
Is it worth the hype? If not, curious what this sub would claim as the absolute best in NYC (if not the planet).
