What are your predictions/wishes for this years upcoming Halloween Banner? I'll go first 🎃
As this month's long awaited seasonal "ice tribe" (Nifl) banner dropped, we all pretty much predicted the units on there correctly. Thus, I have been wondering what the next seasonal in line might look like? This post contains spoilers for the FE games these characters are from! Do not forget to tell me your own takes and wishes on this post!
My predictions are displayed on this image I made and are based on patterns and previous units we got! These choices are not really based on my own hopes or wishes.
Explanation:
Diamant - I feel like Engage is slowly and steadily taking over seasonal spots (Summer, Winter) and occupying them for the years to come, just like 3h did very prominently. An indication for this is last years Halloween banner, that had Timerra, Anna as well as Seadall on. Diamant is also a fan favorite Engage character with no alts yet, so this feels like a no brainer, after his brother got his groom alt. He also has connections to the other units I picked for this banner. Most of the reasons mentioned here are also echoed through the other banner picks and I will not be repeating them in the other entries.
Céline - I chose Cèline for many similar reasons. Also, all Engage characters are in a way connected to a dragon so, they are pseudo adjacent to the old "Dragon Theme" that dominated the Halloween banners for years. While last years banner was more of a departure from that theme, the Engage characters and other keep it.
Lilith - It is odd she was not chosen for this theme yet, as she fits the old dragon theme and is connected to the Corrins who both got halloween alts already. She is a non-lord so I would expect her to be a demote. I did consider Anankos here, since dragon villains have been halloweenized but I was not too sure about that one.
Duo Male Alear/Lumera - I would have picked Female Alear if she did not get the Summer alt just recently, but alas. Male Alear's as well as his mother's status as a Divine Dragon from Engage speaks for him in this position. Lumera could have been the lead, but at this point she got more versions of herself in this game than male Alear, so I do believe they are giving this to him instead. For those who might say that a Duo would not follow right after a Harmonic, this years Duo/Harm order is heavily inconsistent, just look it up. There is very little Male/Female Duos in FEH, but they are usually "allowed" and "tolerated" by IS when it is a family/couples themed one.
Seteth - Flayn has been on last year and >! his secret identity is Saint Cichol, so that checks out for being a dragon as well.<! He is a non-lord male and will probably not be a limited 5☆ star or seasonal demote, based on IS's usual patterns. Super stoked if he got on, but for some reason IS does not like following through with banner unit continuation when it comes to males, so let's see.
Zephia/Celestia: Her identity as well as her release game speak for her. And she already kinda looks ooky spooky, so she is my honorable mention here. I put Lilith over her though, because I do not think they would put on all Engage units.
