What’s Next?

First time posting and wanted to gather some outside perspective. I’d appreciate your input!

I’m a VP at a Large Regional Commercial Bank in TX. Ive been with the same company nearly 15 years doing a handful of different things prior to having the opportunity to join the Mid Market Commercial Group about 6-7 years ago. Went through the traditional track, Analyst and now been an RM for the last 4 years or so, and wear all hats, Portfolio Manager, Business Development, Community Stuff, etc. I’m pretty good at my job, I produce, grown my portfolio significantly, have a great relationship with Senior and Executive Leadership…so I’m comfortable…but have gotten to the point where I’m wondering what’s next??

Management is definitely in the cards in perhaps another 3-4 years…but have I sold myself short being here so long? Are there any other opportunities? Is it possible to fast track my progression into more senior roles? Industry is in flux now too, so I’m nervous about big changes, but I’m curious what I potentially have to look forward to.
