Will try to go to Cannes next year with a cinephile pass. Give me everything I should know

I understand how I can apply but and I (kind of) understand that you need to get tickets three days in advance but would like detail on things like how early I should get in line, do I get tickets at the Cannes office or online and what theaters I can go to. This information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
