Fresh florals - without bad associations
Hi! I'm getting more into fragrances this year and have been sampling up a storm. I like woody things and green tea scents, but I'm also trying to find more fresh florals for the spring and summer.
My partner has been game to sniff whatever I show him and he mostly thinks everything is "nice" except... many florals. Roses in particular seem to be unpopular with him - they smell like an older relative and/or this cleaner his family used growing up.
Caveat that I usually don't choose fragrances based on his taste, I just don't want to wear something that he has gross associations with!
These are the main offenders so far:
- Chloe EDP
- Burberry Her EDP
- Eau Rose from Diptyque
- Prada Paradoxe Intense smells "like an American Eagle in the mall" to him!
He has liked Acqua Di Gioia, Delina (a surprise!), and Burberry Her Blossom.
Anyone have light, fresh florals they'd recommend? Thanks so much! :)
