Survival and human friendliness
I don't understand how chris became so creepy and macabre close to his father which he didn't gave a lot of consideration for. At the boat he still was quite emotional/ nervous( even when he killed that prisoner to which maddison broke her promise of keeping it quiet), then i remember the escalation began with that boy at the island. He particularly wasn't surrounded by good examples however and had witnessed not so great manifestations of compassion. Compared to twd show, the attempt of preserving human integrity part was skipped since s1. Now again i had to stop because maddison didn't let people in at the rosarito hotel and it clearly shows that maddison is inherently " selfish" in short built for the apocalypse ( in fact she doesn't even think ). We also see that in other characters for example victor being the stereotype of opportunist etc.... I could never see rick as a counterpart of maddison
