I don't like to give hope without a solid proof, but there is nothing else to say but this

I’m just saying, that even though this situation is tragic, there’s one clear way to 'kind of' confirm his death. When La Signora died, Mihoyo later released a Fatui Harbinger trailer showing the Tsaritsa burying her in ice, which symbolized her end. But Scaramouche didn’t get anything like that, likely because his situation is different due to Irminsul. What I mean is, if Mihoyo had treated his story the same way they treated La Signora’s, it would have marked his end. It also might mean they have other plans for him if they didn't. This is just a quick thought, not a solid argument.
I'm just upset but nothing to do I guess.
