Can't recommend right now...

A couple months ago my wife finally caved and let me order a direct drive setup and pedals from fanatec. So I ordered the csl dd base, formula v2.5 wheel and v3 pedals. I really only play f1 on pc coming from ps5 and gran turismo with a logitech setup. I don't get to spend much time playing games due to a 1 year old and full time job but after 2 months the brake input failed. No input registered at all. I didn't modify them out of the box. Everything else still works. I did the typical... driver re install, force flash, manually setting min max but nothing. I created a support ticket just about a month ago now and at first just received the typical please do all the stuff you already did 5 times and email us back to confirm and add a video email. Did that immediately and have been waiting for several weeks with no response. 0 after sales support. Due to not selling in stores you are stuck with this modern way of battling with fake customer service to get support for something that costs more than many car payments . At this rate they won't help me until just before the warranty is up for good leaving me with no confidence in the product. This is a pretty bad sign of things to come with their insolvency filling. Save yourself the potential headache and get something in store. In the US I found out simagic is now available at microcenter. Made a two hour trip spent a bit more to upgrade and just bought their extended warranties. Any issues I'll just bring them in to them. Can't beat that support.
