Best restaurants/question

Hey y’all! I’m visiting Fairbanks next week for a university visit funded by my current college, and I was wondering what restaurants y’all recommend? My school is covering $90 worth of food per day, so price doesn’t matter too much :)

Also, is it realistic to walk between locations in Fairbanks? I noticed the hotel I’m staying at is only about 1.5 miles from the university buildings I’ll be going to, but I know nothing about the terrain/roads. Where I currently live it would be stupid to walk 1.5 miles anywhere as it’s all major roadways, but just curious how it is up there!
