Why am I so far behind on updates?

I saw another Lightning owner post their most recent update and it began with a 6. I just got my second update since buying the truck in April…and I’m on update 4.2.1.2. Is there any way to force the updates? Would taking it to the dealer help? Love the truck (other than this minor inconvenience).
