Nipple Flows

I was advised by an LC never to switch up nipple flow. We are currently using slow flow nipples with the Evenflo Balance bottles. Baby drinks BM.

Curious to hear your opinions about changing nipple flows and when/why you did it. If introducing formula, do I need to speed up the flow due to consistency?
