Question about sensitive content in Evernote

A friend of mine is writing a novel on a somewhat sensitive topic (human trafficking); she asked me if Evernote allows for storing of content related to all that. I actually don't know so thought I'd ask here. I understand their policies state you can't upload sensitive content into public notes but not sure if that means non-public notes can contain graphic content? For context she's looking to clip research and other reference material, which can be web pages, PDFs, pictures. Used the NSFW tag not sure if that's needed sorry.
