Evernote PC desktop version 10.76.2 (not yet the new IU) image resizing issue?

I'm not here to complain, been a paid user for the past 13 years and not going anywhere. I searched this community and didn't see anything about this specific issue posted recently.

Just curious if it's me or if others are also experiencing the same thing. It's not the end of the world but hopefully it's something they will fix in the next update if it is across the board.

When I put images in notes these past few days, it's hard to explain, but the image footprint takes up the entire width of the page instead of the actual size of the image with the rest being white space across the entire row. When I try to resize the image, sometimes it lets me (but the process can be wonky as it thinks the image is the entire width of the note when it's not) and sometimes it won't let me shrink the image down at all.

Are others seeing this as well or just me? Thanks!

EDIT: The new UI came my way today (2/20/24) and this is still happening. Hopefully the next update will fix the issue.

EDIT 2/23/24: Just got today's update...I knew I wasn't crazy. "We’ve updated you to the latest version of Evernote 10.77.3 has been installed and is ready to use. Fixes: Fixed an issue where images couldn't be placed next to each other in a note"
