Should I join Goons?

Not a troll post, should I join Karmafleet or any other Goons corp if I am looking for USTZ pvp fleets? I have plenty of SP and usually like playing logi. Main issue for me in prev alliance (TEST I left recently) that I just want to login and join fleets, not wait an hour to maybe get something.

So I recently left, doing some high sec crabbing abyssals but really want shoot reds.

There is a lot of talks that Goons are bad and evil, I wonder why?

EDIT: I joined KarmaFleet @ Goons and it is amazing so far. The community is just extremely strong and supportive. Pvp pings happen all the time, people willing to deal with questions/problems I have.
