Is the Eritrean national identity dead? Do 🇪🇷 only identify with their own political parties. Why do Eritreans never stick together but always fight each other but put non Eritreans over their own? Why can other East Africans be proud but when we speak about ‚Eritrean values‘ we are segregationist

What’s the point that we our forefathers fought for independence when we Eritreans are divided, when some Eritreans don’t identify with beeing Eritrean, but say that Eritrean Tigrayan.

when advocating for Eritrean weddings leads to polarization?

When advocating for Eritrean history like Medri Bahri kingdom or etc leads to polarization?

Or the endless discussion of violent riots on Eritrean gatherings, are effective to bring positive change in Eritrea?

some Eritreans want foreign forces to arm Eritrean insurgencies and some want to welcome foreign forces to invade Eritrea

Why can other East Africans be proud of their nations or even claim that their country is 3000 years old and claim others people lands, but when Eritreans speak about Eritrean values or about advocating for Eritrean weddings than they are segregationist.

But when non Eritreans speak about Eritrea, Eritrea’s history, threaten Eritreans with war over the Redsea, or attacking Eritrean women and Eritrean refugees hardly anyone stand up, because then you are pro PFDJ

During the Tigray war there were many Eritreans who stood by tplf, during the 1998-2000 Eritrean Ethiopian border war, there were many Eritreans who secretly sympathized with meles zenawi, there were even armed Eritrean opposition groups like Rsado & EJDM who were allegedly fighting together with the ENDF against Eritrea.

Even after the border war there were many Eritreans claiming Eritrea started the 1998 border war , ignoring that Meles invaded i Adi Murug, Eritrea in 1997, and the deadly ambush on Eritrean soldiers on 6may 1998 which led to the start of the war , the initial Ethiopian bombings on the Asmara air port confirmed by the us state department, TPLFs violation of the ceasefire agreement and the start of operation sunset in February 1999, which led to the Ethiopian army invading and occupying 30% of Eritrea, and the humanitarian crisis in the Ethiopian territories for nearly 2 years (rape, extrajudicial killings, lootings, bombings)

various officials including the head of the Ethiopian army Berhanu Jula admitted in 2022 that TPLF started the 1998 border war.

even during the no war no peace, tplf launched several invasion into Eritrea between 2010-2016, and they occupied Eritrean lands until the start of the Tigray conflict.

During the 2020 war, there were several Eritreans from the opposition like Meskerem and Selam Kidane who were accused of sympathizing with TPLF marching to Eritrea

If we look at our neighbors, despite all the tensions they have they would never an Egyptian attack on their country.

But we have many Eritreans who would have no problem with Abiy Ahmed arming Eritrean insurgencies and invading Eritrea.

I agree the Eritrean government, has divided us. But we Eritreans should do better.

We should love each other, we don’t need any hate, we should build a better Eritrea together. But this requires everyone to do his part. But if all are selfish or only within their own group/party then we will never achieve that

But we should respect everyone free will too.

We should appreciate all Eritreans Eritrean women Eritrean men, Eritreans of all 9 tribes, Eritrean nationalist, human rights activists, Eritrean doctors, Eritreans teachers even those keep our cpuntry safe.

We should put our own country people at first. We shouldn’t replace eritreanism with Agazianism or Habesha identity.

We should see every Eritrean as brother, sister and friend.

Otherwise our forefathers died for nothing
