Opinions on psychedelics (shrooms, acid, etc)?

Even since before I was diagnosed with Epilepsy, I’ve always wanted to at least try shrooms at least once. I haven’t had the opportunity to until now which ofc i’m now diagnosed and have seen mixed opinions about it. I just want some opinions, what do you guys think? Have any of you tried any sort psychedelics after diagnosis? What was it like? Etc.
