Why are you in entrepreneurship anyway?

Personally, I struggle with my internal motivation as to why I develop a company in the first place. I like the usual things like the freedom, being your own boss, etcetera, and my SaaS-company goes really well. But other than that, my goals are limited. I have no idea whether I want to sell this company at some point or what life goals I'm actually achieving doing this. I don't know if I'm in for the long run or not.

So maybe you can help me with your thoughts. What are the goals you are trying to achieve with your businesses?
