Freshman parking/dorms/food

Hello! I wanted to know about the best way freshman can possibly be able to get student parking. I am an out of state student and want to bring my car with me because I know Emory is far out from most places so it would be nice to have my car with me.

For dorms, which are the best possible to get into? Is it an application process? Are you given dorms/roomies by major or do you pick your roommates based off an app?

For food, what is the best option for freshman. I’m really unfamiliar with food options in college and how they may work. Lmk! Thank you!
