Practicum Project

Hello everyone, a year from now I will be graduation college with a bachelor’s in emergency management. I’ve been off and on with school and finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Since I’ve started school my life with work has changed drastically and I no longer work in a field where I’m doing emergency management. I work a full time job for my family business doing estimating and talking to contractors as well as running a dump truck company. I am completely lost on what I should do. Some good ideas on what my project should be about would be appreciated. This is a family business with around 40 employees doing concrete, irrigation, and landscape. We don’t have really any set emergency management rules other than following OSHA guidelines and PPE. Do I have an open book with what I can do? I know I can ask the school like I’m supposed too (and will). But in the mean time I would like some insight one what I should expect for this and some possible advice.
