Eloping in 2 weeks 👰🏻‍♀️ Please share any advice 🙏🏼

Hi! I recently got engaged on 9/10 and my fiancé and I have talked thoroughly about our wedding plans. Because we’re 36 and eager to start a family, we decided to go to Santa Barbara courthouse and have our civil ceremony on November 1st! We both have the same birthday in April so we plan to have something to celebrate our union with our loved ones then.

My reason for this post is to ask for any advice you may have. I have my gown, veil, shoes etc, he has his tux and all things. My mom will be our witness and my best friend will be our photographer. Him and I will spend the weekend there after we marry that Friday.

Any recommendations regarding the courthouse itself (it’s so beautiful), any nearby places for pictures, best restaurants etc… anything is greatly appreciated 🙏🏼
