Ninebot MAX G2 E throttle and speed help - jerky riding experience
Just swapped from a Pure scooter to the MAX G2 E and took my first test ride. The first thing I noticed was how different the riding experience is between the two. I always felt like I had perfect control of the Pure's throttle and speed, being able to gently adjust my thumb on the throttle for smooth and predictable increases and decreases in speed.
And maybe it's just my first ride and I'll get used to how to ride it with time, but I'm struggling with the G2. I'm finding it very difficult to hold and adjust the throttle in a way that maintains, increases or decreases my speed in small and smooth increments. It feels like if I let up slightly my speed drops down quicker than expected and jerks me forward, but if I push ever so slightly it does nothing until I push a little more and it increases significantly faster than I wanted or expected and jerks me backward. Riding full speed is smooth as butter and the brakes are great, but when I'm needing to navigate at speeds in between and adjust my speed on the fly, it's just jerking me all over the place.
I've turned off energy recovery and I've set the sport acceleration mode to energy saving, both which have helped a little, but I'm still finding it unpredictable and difficult to maintain, increase and decrease my speed smoothly without it being jerky and jolting me back and forth.
Anyone else have any solutions or advice?
