Invisible Walls?

Girlfriend and I chilling on couch, I was exploring the lands between and she pointed something out that has hurt me immensely.

Since I started playing Elden ring I’ve been calling them “invisible” walls. As it appears some other people do too. But to my dismay she pointed out the flaw in my statement.

“It’s not really invisible, it’s intangible isn’t it?”

I….I….cant find a flaw in her logic cause she’s right. So this has led me to wonder. What do you call them? Illusory walls? Hidden walls? Walls?!
