Recommendations for flat refurbishment managers

I'm looking for recommendations for small companies / sole traders who can project-manage a refurbishment of my 1-bed flat.

I currently rent it out to a long-term tenant. I was aware that things were getting a bit dated in the flat, and had anticipated installing a new kitchen and bathroom within the next few years. However, I spent some time in the flat last weekend and have come to the realisation that a) it's more worn-out than I thought, and b) the tenant has likely never cleaned anything. Consequently, the entire flat is a midden.

(I use a letting agent, who send me regular visit reports saying "4 out of 5 - well-maintained and clean". I have since been into their office to show them photographs of the real state and asked them to review how they rate "well-maintained" and "clean".)

So I'm trying to get an idea of costs - I don't simply want a new kitchen and bathroom fitted; I want someone to take a look at the current kitchen and bathroom and tell me how they could be better fitted - the kitchen, in particular. And the rest of the flat needs a proper redecoration, perhaps new internal doors, fireplace removed (certainly the fake marble hearth), new flooring in the bedroom, etc.

Searching online shows that there's no shortage of companies who can do this, which is why I'm asking for recommendations. Has anyone on this sub been through such a project?
