3th generation without a male heir

As the title said. I am in my 3th generation and never get a male child. At first I tought it is a coincidence. But I had 12 children’s so far without a single male character. It doesn‘t matter if I adopt or get pregnant… it is always be a female child. Could it be a bug? So far I had a few bugs in my game. Some bugs I fixed with „creative game play“ some bugs stays… but I am not sure… had someone same expiernce and get a male child in 5th generation?
