General map order

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but crawling the web hasn't found me any feedback

But i was wondering, in regards to map combo order,,,when it comes to road connections and fixes, is it right or otherwise would work, to place ALL road connection files above ALL maps? also can they conflict with other RC files? or would the game just ignore this..cheers
