Is my deck too oppressive?

My playgroup has been playing for years (around 8 or 9) and we have moved up and down from casual to cEDH and back again. I personally liked cEDH so I kept my deck and continue to play, but the group overall moved down to make their home at high power. It's not uncommon to see some free counters, nigh infinite turns, 100s of swinging tokens, infinite combos, etc. We get that the game has to end.

I recently was feeling nostalgic and decided to rebuild an old deck that I had made during my first year of playing magic, [[Oloro, Ageless Ascetic]]. I will attach the decklist below, but I was told that it was "too oppressive". It is a primarily life gain deck, with a couple of complimenting end gaming combos, but nothing like Thoracle. [[Felidar Sovereign]] and [[Test of Endurance]] are in there, but I have never won with them, and am thinking of taking them out. Another one is [[Exquisite Blood]] and [[Sanguine Bond]] as well as their creature counterparts, but the cmc is 10 and 8 respectively. Each of them can get removed without triggering the life gain/loss loop. The main wincon is [[Bolas's Citadel]] , [[Sensei's Divining Top]] , and [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] , which once again can get removed, reflected, so on.

The main complaint is that I have some stax pieces like [[Winter orb]] and [[Static Orb]] (and [[Humility]] but that has never reared its head yet). This deck is slow and takes a lot of time to set up, and some cards I put in recently because I keep getting 2v1'd right from the start. It's not about the life since infinite combos don't care about how much life you have, and 21 commander damage also ignores whatever life I gain, so I put in some cards to protect me.

So my question is, is this deck too oppressive? Or is this a skill issue situation?
