can’t have conversations with players in the ahl

in the offseason whenever i switch to my ahl team , the conversation bubble section is greyed out so i can’t talk to anyone about offseason improvements (i made sure to sim until after they were out of the playoffs) , i swear we used to be able to talk to them did they change that in the newest update ???
