Got this offer after a down year, should we accept as we consider rebuild?
Currently 1-7 after coming in first last year. Year of bad beats week after week. 10-man league.
Currently have the following:
QB: Daniels, Dak, & Stafford, Young RB: Barkley, Breece, White, Eckler, Mostert WR: Deebo, Dell, Scary Terry, Ridley, JMo, Sutton, Lazard TE: Hockenson, Engram
How I view the trade offer: This would allow me to get younger at QB with the replacement of Dak for Herbert.
Etienne had a phenomenal year last year but is quite literally in the slumps this year with the Jags being so ass and needing to throw the ball constantly with being down early in each game. However, he is young and a bounce back could occur at any point this season or next. Barkley is getting older but still very much productive. I do have Breece as my primary back, so wouldn’t be overly concerned with replacing for Etienne for rest of season and potentially draft RB with my early FRP I already have.
Getting rid of Pickens would be the drag for me here, however, with that QB situation in Pittsburgh, it’s either a boom or bust situation but would likely take a couple of years to get true value out of when he likely leaves in FA. However, the draft pick compensation could help with a future replacement whether that be a FRP or SRP.
