With the Ben Johnson hire, what is Roschon Johnson's role in 2025?

As we all know, the Lions have the best RB duo in the NFL, with "Sonic and Knuckles". Gibbs and Monty finished #1 and #18, respectively, in PPR last season. The Lions offensive line faired well at run blocking, ranking in at #6 according to Final Offensive Line Rankings & Ratings. All of this, in addition to making significant contributions in the revitalization of Goff's career, has led to Ben Johnson being the most hyped up HC candidate we've seen in a while.

Understandably, he's chosen to work with Caleb Williams and the Bears. With both D'andre Swift and Roschon Johnson under contract through the 2026 season, I can't help but become excited about the prospect of Ben Johnson giving a "Sonic and Knuckles" type role to his new duo. One major factor here is the fact that the Bears were only #19 in run blocking last year. Do they bring in another back through FA or the draft? Has Roschon done enough and is he talented enough to hold onto and increase his workload?
