Show becomes seriously unwatchable once Micheal leaves :(

I decided to watch the office for the first time a month ago and got to near the end of season 7 and Micheal leaving has made the show empty, like a big gaping hole is left behind. This is probably the most unoriginal take ever but I really don't know If i can continue watching with such an integral part of the show being ripped away.

Should I push on to 8 and 9??
