Week 1 thoughts

Going strong and I see no reason for not having a successful Dry January.

With that said, after a full week, I have proven I can go without having alcohol. I don't feel the urge to sneak a shot or just have one beer and for the first time since I've been 18 (several decades), I've gone a week without alcohol.

What I am focused on now is changing behaviors. The NA beer is good but I have just swapped out regular beer for it. I don't want February to come around and I'm back to knocking down three DIPAs a night.

My focus now is on, instead of having an NA beer, have some water, decaf tea, or something else.

I look forward to continued postings in this sub for thoughts, ideas, perspectives, struggles, successes, etc.
