Why cant i get to high

All my friends talk about how they get “way to faded” after smoking but ill smoke a joint then like 3-4 bowls and ill be high i just want to get higher so ill grab my cart or pack another biwl but i just dont get higher am i just so high i dont even realize? Or am i smoking shitty weed idk but it seems to get everyone around me way more high than i get
