Asking someone if they are high

Does anyone else hate receiving this question? High or sober I get asked if I’m high whenever I’m enjoying myself or laughing a lot, even before I told anyone close to me I used, I find it so insulting in my opinion - and it always seems to be those who have zero experience or connections to substances that ask me if I’m high never others who do drugs
