My mom wants the dog gone please help

This is Tiger. We got Tiger for my step-dad because his best friend Cain, a red-nosed pit bull, was dying. My step-dad didn't want him at first, but now he'd do anything for Tiger. And I don't normally like dogs; I find them to be very loud, but Tiger is something else. He's my favorite. Tiger is a Boxer, Husky, Wolf, Pitbull mix. His mom was a Boxer, and his dad was a combination of the other three. He also is not neutered. We have been fighting my mom on Tiger because he's destructive. He's a good dog. He sits when told, shakes, speaks. My sister has even taught him very difficult tricks in a matter of an hour working with him. He's smart, but he destroys things. He chewed an entire seat out of our couch after watching a Dalmatian we had do it. He's chewed rugs, remotes, flooring, walls. He's even chewed a hole in the actual floor. I understand why my mom wants him gone, but I also feel there's something else that can be done. Not to mention there's a lot of things Tiger doesn't do that he gets blamed for, and nobody defends him but me and Dad. I would say I definitely feel like there is ranking in our house. Tiger seems to see my sister's Chihuahua as the alpha among the dogs and my mom as the head of the house. I don't want Tiger to leave, but my mom is a difficult woman. She's even begun to say Tiger is violent. He's not. He pees himself when he's in trouble. This has stemmed from the few times our baby sister has tried to take something from him or hit him with something, and he has snapped at her, which I would argue is her fault. She's been told numerous times not to hit the dogs or take things out of their mouths. I'm the only person Tiger will let take something out of his mouth willingly without bared teeth. All I do is walk up to him, ask, "Can I have that, please?" and he drops it in my hand. Everyone else tries to rip it out of his mouth, and that's just not the way. As a person who is constantly misunderstood due to a mental disorder (BPD), I have a personal connection with Tiger. I just feel he's misunderstood. Any advice on how to help Tiger would be helpful.

P.S. I know his nails might look overgrown. I have a system over the span of 2-3 days. I sneak up on him and clip as many nails as I can before he realizes because he hates his nails clipped.
