Bit by dog at daycare

My dog was dropped off for GROOMING services. No authority for a half day of daycare and got attacked by another dog. The contract they have is blank with the companies name due to change of ownership and all they have on file is a piece of paper with my signature nothing that mentions a contract. I need help with advice that means all contracts on their file are just a small piece of paper with a signature. Help I know it’s vague but I’m in a panic.
