Non-DnD books with a very DnD feel?

Hello readers! I love Baldur’s Gate 3 and (heavily modded) Elder Scrolls games.

I’m looking for books that capture the feeling of being a lithe rogue or wandering through imposing stone ruins. In short, I want DnD in book form - but I’d prefer to avoid the licensed books for now.
