swordman vs magical swordman?
Hi,
admittedly this question is not strictly about DnD, I actually come from an anime/manga/manhwa background, and I recently had a conversation about why would anybody ever want to choose swordman over magical swordman as class.
The way I see it, a magical swordman has all the advantages of a swordman plus magic.
If there are systems where the swordman class receives swordmanship skills that the magical swordman class would not receive and could potentially become better at swordmanship, this I don't know.
But I personally would find that weird. Any swordman should be able to learn the same swordmanship skills, regardless of if one can also use magic or not.
I understand that you here can only talk of DnD but I didn't know where else to ask in a more general perspective.
Thanks
