Impact Driver With Precision Mode (850 vs 860 and 870)

The DCF850 has mode 1 which stops fastening when resistance is met, then you keep holding it and it slowly advances the screw forward.

It doesn't look like the 860 or 870 have this feature. Has anyone seen any indication that they do? It's really nice to not worry about stripping out small fasteners into soft wood with the 850, but I'd like something newer.
