Lex x Andreesen Psychosis

I'm listening through the Lex x Andreesen interview and as smart as I think this Andreesen guy is, I've noticed him saying more and more shit that just truly baffles me. Phrases like "Elon is completely dedicated to the truth" and "Sometimes he makes a mistake because he's human". I genuinely don't understand how you can become so myopic. These guys never respond to the vast examples of Elon retweeting misinformation, or Sam Harris's recent post about him.

It's too boring of an answer for me to just say these guys are purely malicious and self-interested and take everyone who listens as complete fools. It genuinely feels like some kind of psychosis. He's clearly a very well read and intelligent guy who of course has an interest aligned in a particular political view. It's just aggravating to me idk I feel like we never get an honest criticism of people from their own movement.
