Making space for baby in an open concept

I need suggestions on what to do with this room for baby. As you can see in the photo I have two large dogs. I love them to death but they are dog, they’re dirty and they track in germs and junk on their feet. I literally cannot steam mop the floor every single day but I do want a place that I can keep clean when baby starts crawling and being mobile. The house I lived in when my older two were babies was an older house and all rooms were divided by walls, it also had two living room spaces. So I could gate off a playroom to keep clean for the kids without confining my dogs to one room, which I believe is unfair to them. This is a new build so it’s all one great room, no walls. This is it. My dining area is to the right of this photo but there isn’t a way to gate off any of it. Baby doesn’t have his own room right now as we don’t have space. I just don’t know what to do with this at this point. I feel like because I’m living it maybe I’m not seeing the forest through the trees and some fresh eyes can help me with a solution.
