Lattafa Nebras, Yes another review
Yes welcome with me my first backup of the season - that gurl, Nebras by lattafa. Top notes : red berries, mandarin orange. Middle notes : vanilla, cacao and rose. Base notes : sugar, tonka, amber, musk. The fragrance opens fresh, not citrusy fresh but just brighter. Berries are sweet here, not sour at all. Then we move to the heart with rose but jammy rose. That rose is added along with the stem so there is some green-ness. It's in the background, nothing noticeable. The cacao is dense and very much there. The vanilla in here is lactonic, smooth and rich. Think of a melted icecream tub mixed with jammy rose dusted with cacao.
Have you ever tried berry chantilly cake? No? let's bake then. Take all the dry ingredients and then mix with butter to form a crumble. Now mix that up with wet ingredients to form the batter and you bake it. For the frosting, you take heavy cream, sugar, vanilla and mascarpone. The cake is ready and now you cut it in half. Spread the jam mixture onto the moist cake to make it even more moist. Then spread the dreamy creamy mascarpone frosting on the cake and add fresh berries to it. Cover it with other half of the cake and repeat. There is your cake and if you pour it in a bottle, it's nebras.
The fragrance is amazing. It is mouth watering but in an elegant way. It's a no brainer vanilla and super gorgeous. You can pull it off in any season but the scorching summers. It is slightly romantic and that is why this, imho, is the best valentines day scent for everyone. Lasts an entire day on the clothes. However the projection is below average, very mild. Sillage is below average too. If you haven't gotten it yet, then what are you doing? Get a decant! NOW!
